Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Alokha! These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and
use of our mobile application and platform for shopping, ordering, and delivery.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, registering, or using the Alokha App, you agree to be bound by these
terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. User Accounts
- Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
- Report any unauthorized account activity to our support team immediately.
3. Service Overview
Alokha connects customers with local stores and sellers. Users can browse nearby shops,
view available products, add them to the cart, and place orders for home delivery or store
pickup.
4. Orders and Payments
- All orders placed through the Alokha App are subject to product availability and
seller confirmation.
- Payments made through UPI, cards, wallets, or cash on delivery are processed securely.
- Orders once confirmed cannot be cancelled after dispatch unless otherwise specified by
the seller.
5. Product Information and Pricing
Alokha strives to ensure all product details and prices displayed are accurate. However,
discrepancies may occur, and we reserve the right to update information without prior
notice.
6. Usage Restrictions
- Users must not misuse the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the app's functionality or security.
- False orders or misleading information may result in account suspension.
7. Delivery and Pickup
Delivery times may vary based on location and product availability. Users will be notified
via the app when orders are out for delivery or ready for pickup at the selected store.
8. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible products.
- Refunds are processed within 24-48 hours to the original payment method.
- Cancellations are allowed before order dispatch. Post-dispatch cancellations may incur charges.
- Wallet refunds are instant while bank/card refunds may take 5-7 business days.
9. Alokha Wallet
- Wallet balance can be used for purchases on Alokha platform.
- Wallet amount cannot be transferred or withdrawn to bank account.
- Refunds for wallet payments are credited back to the wallet.
- Wallet balance does not expire but is subject to platform terms.
10. Liability
Alokha acts as an intermediary platform between users and sellers. We are not liable
for product quality, delay in delivery, or issues arising from third-party sellers.
11. Modifications
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted within the
app. Continued use of Alokha after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new
terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India, and any disputes shall be subject
to the jurisdiction of courts located in Tirunelveli.
